Carousel Beads is a full-service Bead Store nestled in the heart of Historic Old New Castle, Delaware. Our goal is to provide a level of customer service second to none. As the sign over the door says, "Enter as strangers, leave as friends."

We offer a full line of beads and supplies including: Swarovski crystals, Czech glass, lampwork, wood, nut, shell beads, seed beads, pearls, semi-precious, artisan beads, and more!

Finished pieces are available in the shop and we specialize in creating custom designs to complement that special outfit. Beaders are always welcome to sit in our classroom and create.

While in Old New Castle, be sure to visit our many museums, restaurants, shops, and historic landmarks. In nice weather, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a gorgeous view of the Delaware River from Battery Park. Classes

Group and private lessons are available. All supplies purchased on class day are 10% off. Schedule a private class with Pat for any Tuesday through Friday morning to learn one of the projects listed below, or join a beginning-intermediate Saturday group class taught by the talented Johanna Zitto. Directions from I-95

Going South (from Philadelphia) or North (from Baltimore)

• Get off on 295 North towards the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
• Take the Route 9 South exit (next to last exit before bridge) towards Old New Castle.
• Stay on 9, turn left at the traffic light onto Delaware Street. (There is a Happy Harry's on the right.)
• We are on the right, next to the Velocipede Bicycle Museum.

Directions from New Jersey and the Delaware Memorial Bridge

• Take the second exit immediately after the bridge toll - Route 9 South towards Old New Castle.
• Stay on 9, turn left at the traffic light onto Delaware Street. (There is a Happy Harry's on the right.)
• We are on the right, next to the Velocipede Bicycle Museum.
